Dark Chocolate Butter Cake
- Natural cocoa powder
- Baking powder
- Dark chocolate
- Olive oil
- Cream cheese
- Whipping cream
In a bowl take 5 separated egg whites, add 1 tsp of vinegar and whisk the mixture to soft peak consistency, while adding 40 g of sugar.
In another bowl add 200 g of flour through a sieve, 90 g of sugar, 150 g of pure natural cocoa powder, 1.5 tbsp of baking powder and 1.5 tsp of salt (sift all the dry ingredients) and whisk.
In a bowl add 100 g of melted butter, 90 ml of olive oil, also add in the reserved egg yolks from earlier and whisk. Next put in the egg whites mixture and fold it in, next add 100 ml of cow milk, 50 ml honey and mix until smooth and then add 3 oz of melted dark chocolate and mix to combine.
Now pour the batter in a pan and put in a preheated oven at 180o C for 30 minutes. After that let it cool for about 30 minutes.
Covering & filling:
Take some heavy whipping cream, cream cheese with melted dark chocolate and sugar to taste/ honey and mix to incorporate the ingredients to a smooth mixture. Add in some nuts or fruits as required.
