- In a bowl sift 300 g of all purpose flour, add 50 g of semolina, a tsp of salt, 34 g of desi ghee (or butter if desired) and mix. Pour in 10 ml water and 100 ml of milk, then mix and knead the dough.
- Next grease the dough with olive oil, transfer it to a bowl lined with olive oil, cover and let it rest for around 30 minutes. After that knead the dough again with some olive oil, until smooth.
- After that draw some portions out of the dough and form a sphere and then flatten it to a circular sheet like form.
Deep Fry
Then throw it in the preheated olive or coconut oil in a pan and wait until golden, press down on it to submerge it in oil, to inflate the puri /flat bread. Cook on both sides, making it crisp and golden.
